High Acceptance is an installation made for YYZ Artists' Outlet that employs materials used in curative contexts such as copper, Himalayan salt, and SAD lamps. Three coppper and salt 'bed' forms rest in the space, while a scent diffuser emits a ready-made body odour fragrance. The exhibition title orginates as a term used to describe the efficacy of a given (alternative health) therapy, and is about my interest in the state of the perceiver.
