chisel to carve light thoughts is informed by my research about healing devices. Each work is illustrative, exploring a theme of coping with both the process and the possible outcomes. Some devices are used to attain feelings of lightness or connection while others ground, protect and insulate. These works reflect my interest in the body, emotions and psychological states.
